Restoration work

•  Metal letterings from silver containing alloy ensuring a lifelong shine
  • Thickness = 0.45mm
• Hammer proof, deep black powder coat
• Scratch proof
• Custom CNC machined faceplate to accommodate 5 in high resolution screen
  • Material used: Aviation grade 7075-T6 aluminum.
• Machined pinch rollers with non magnetic stainless steel bearings
  • Material used: White Bronze 
• Display screen powered by Teensy 4.1 controller and 3X dazzler. 
  • Refresh rate is 60Hz
  • Teensy 4,1 overclocked to 800MHz, memory expanded to maximum with external IC.
  • Up to 16 Mb for variables and 128Mb for FLASH.
• Capable of holding all audio data for 64 bins
• Spectrum analyzer for each channel and a lot more.
• Audio signal taken from the first stage of the existing VU meter circuit to ensure separation. Teensy audio shield with SGTL5000 connected to the main controller via I2C and I2S. There is one more I2S interface on Teensy 4.1 and it is possible to read spectrum from input and output of the same channel and compare during recording.
• 7 different modes of VU meters with 4 different colors for each mode. Include 2 analog needles and one similar to the original.
  • Each analog mode has a peak needle with 30mS delay. Spectrum analyzer bins also have peaks with 7 different delays, chosen by the user.
• Automatic counter with 1/100 sec precision and remaining tape calculator.
• Calibrated for 10,5 in reels and 1.0 mil and 1,5 mil tape thickness. EEPROM for counter, mode and color.
• New heads.
• Deck recapped
• All rubber parts replaced. 
• Old soft metal Philips bolts replaced with hex heads.
• MRL Calibrated
• Multi Voltage, will work around the globe.
