Really well done...
— David T. - New York"Kishi is one of the great artists of our time. His blend of classical, pop, synth-electronica and class is one of the many things that sets him apart. When I heard there was an actual tape of one of his live recordings I jumped up. Mostly his own songs but two covers and one of one of the most iconic songs ever, Losing my Religion by REM; string quartet style. I can tell that the people behind this have true passion for tape and it is reflected in the recording. I would say it is a 'fun' recording where you have interaction and different gaps between songs. Really well done Stella!"
Simply nothing like tape...
— Christina C. - Brooklyn, NY"Having attended this live recording and being an avid tape fan I was suspect of the claim that Kishi would be in my listening room. HE IS! I bring people over who have never heard tape and who don’t even like his music and they stop mid conversation every time and ask me what I’m playing. There is simply nothing like tape and this live recording gets played over and over again. I’ll need a discount code soon for how many tapes I’m buying. Thanks guys!"
I could tell they were having fun...
— Jack N. - Nevada"Been buying master tape copies for over two decades. Some studio, some live, some amateur. The Kishi Bashi recording is extremely different in that the artist, audience and the engineer were having a great time. This matters to me as it comes out in the music. I could tell they were having fun and I’m here to tell you how much fun we have listening. Be back for sure!"
